The fact is that people who choose to spend some money to hire some track time are to be admired. Instead of turning the public roads into ad-hoc racing venues and putting both them and a lot of other innocent individuals in jeopardy, these chaps often take several days off work to travel to the iconic German track where they can let loose.
Now, the fact that they're on a dedicated race track is clearly not enough to keep them safe. The track also means that most of them will try to push harder, testing both their skills and the capabilities of whatever machines they happen to own.

Making things even funnier in a not-that-funny way, the Nurburgring is a tricky track, and it sometimes has unpleasant surprises for the guys that race there. If a crowded track is a thing you can deal with, it's fine, but oil and small debris on the German tarmac are not to be taken lightly.

Even though the Nordschleife management is trying to keep things under control, the large number of vehicles that are present during the "tourist days" will always leave their unwanted mark on the track.

Knowing about such things puts extra pressure on both riders and drivers who decide to have some fun at the Nordschleife. Some of them are better at handling extra stress for longer periods, while for others, it might cause them to make mistakes and run off the track.

Apparently, this is what happened to this Honda rider who misses a turn exit and runs wide into the grass, only to crash at a low speed dozens of yards, with not significant damage occurring to either flesh and bone or metal and plastic.

Still, he looks like he needs to learn how to pick a bike from the ground, his technique (or lack of) is not taking him anywhere.
