Honda Announces the GXH50 All-New Kid Kart Engines

Honda Performance Development (HPD), the racing division of American Honda Motor Co., announces the introduction of an all-new Kid Kart engine, dubbed GXH50.

This move aims to revive the entry-level category of kart racing, and breath new, fresh air into the initial stages of performance riding. Thesenew engines are destined to rider 5 to 7 years old.

The Honda GXH50 engine will be offered to races, retail shops and racing series through the Honda Racing Line, and will be factory sealed to eliminate any reverse engineering attempt. If unsealed, they are impossible to re-seal. Engines will have HPD-spec clutch, engine mount, chain guard and hardware, with a life expected to reach over 200 hours.

These units will be available at the price of $829 (€613) and using the the Honda Racing Line, customers can arrange direct, door-to-door delivery of parts and complete engines.
