Honda Sales - November 2012
As have the other major manufacturers present on the US market, Honda too is announcing excellent sales for this past November. Actually, they are saying that it is their best-ever November sales record, recording a rise of 41%, as of last year.
The exact number of cars they managed to sell last month is 104,334 units, of which 26,248 represent sales of the new Accord (82% up from last year), while the new CR-V managed to sell 22,333 units (36% up) and the Civic, which sold an impressive 75% more cars than last year, recording a November sales figure of 30,075 units.

According to John Mendel, American Honda Executive Vice President of Sales, they “are now surpassing sales records set pre-recession, a true sign that our business has recovered [. . .] Honda's all-time best November demonstrates the fundamental strength of our core products. The new Accord is hitting its stride, and with the new Civic now arriving in dealerships, we're ready for a strong finish to 2012."

Honda’s luxury sub-brand, Acura, is also doing very well in the States, and their sales have gone up as well, but by a smaller margin - 23%. The rise was driven by strong sales of the RDX crossover, which set its seventh consecutive monthly record, selling 3,036 units in November - 129% up on last year’s numbers.

"While the MDX leads the lineup in sales, the record-setting sales of RDX and ILX are doing a great job as the gateway to the Acura lineup in bringing new customers to the brand," according to Jeff Conrad, VP of Acura Sales, who went on to say that "the combination of Acura's growing lineup and rising industry sales are fueling Acura's momentum as we head into 2013."
