Honda Accord Crosstour Teaser Number Two

Japanese manufacturer Honda today released the second teaser showing the Accord Crosstour, a model which is projected to hit the market this year on September 1. Still, there are no official details on the car as the company only prefers to tease us every once in a while with new photos hinting at new features on the revised model.

As you can see in the adjacent photo, the car boasts a revised headlights and reshaped front bumper that houses the foglights. Unfortunately, only a few things can be spotted in the picture so we're waiting for yet another teaser with the car or maybe the full specification list that might be rolled out ahead of the Frankfurt release.

According to various media reports, the Accord Crosstour will come equipped with an MDX 3.8l engine, the one found in the ZDX. The two 2.4l four cylinder engines (developing 177 and 190 hp) are also said to make it under the hood of the new crossover, as does the 3.5l V6, with an output of 271 hp.

Along with the new Accord, Honda will also showcase in September the 2010 CR-V, a model that will boast a number of enhancements, including new front bumper, grille and alloy wheels.

"There will be a minor model change in 2010 for the CR-V. It will be launched in the first half of 2010 at this stage. We don’t have all the details on the car yet, but we’ll announce them closer to the date," Honda Australia spokesman Mark Higgins said a few days ago when talking about the public unveiling of the new model scheduled for September 17.
