The Australian automaker received the award in a ceremony that was held by the Federal Government’s Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Agency (EOWA), in recognition for the fact that the carmakers has been implementing a number of projects that promote workplace diversity and flexibility.

To be more precise, women currently account for a bit under 13 per cent of Holden’s total workforce, 20 per cent of the salaried workforce and 15 per cent of the leadership group. We have to mention that the carmaker had previously received this distinction back in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008.
