Swedish suspension components manufacturer Öhlins announces a revised version of their 2.0 SD steering damper for off-road motorcycles.
The first version of their steering damper system has been launched back in 1992 and was an instant hit. Now, after more than 20 years of development, Öhlins surface the newest version in the shape of the SD 2.1, now equipped with a completely new valving system which promises ot eliminate all the fluctuations in the damping characteristics.

The UniFlow feature keeps the hydraulic fluid flowing in only one direction, so the fluctuations are kept to a minimum. The pressurized casing keeps the fluid impervious to temperature changes, adding to the smooth dependability of the system.

The Öhlins SD 2.1 is available with fitting kits for almost all the major motocross and enduro bikes, and is easy to swap from a machine to another, provided the corresponding mounting kit is at hand. Damping Level (DL) and Return to Center (RTC) adjusters are controlling the setup for easy and fast modifications.

You can get the Öhlins SD 2.1 cheaper until March 1st, for $482 (€357), with each mounting kit at $294 (€218) + VAT. After March 1st the prices will be subject to a slight increase.
