HKS-tuned Nissan R35 GT1000 Battles R32 GT-R Group A on Gunsai Touge Course

Japan's Motorhead, which some may consider the world's greatest custom culture magazine has a crush on spectacular videos done by the book, so when we saw their latest creation we knew we had to share it with you guys.

It doesn't matter if you're not a fan of Japan's car tuning and customization scene, or if touge racing is too much for you. This video will tickle your car aficionado fancy in no time, but first, allow us to set the background here.

Touge is an illegal now turned professional form of racing very popular in Japan, where two cars are chasing each other single file through a twisty course, usually a mountain road. Think of the Canyon Duel in Need for Speed Carbon for a better picture, as this racing trend became popular in the US along with the JDM craze.

The video starts with a Drive (the movie) vibe about it, only to be interrupted by the growling engine of the 1,200 horsepower HKS-tuned Nissan R35 GT1000, and the "drive with your head" advice.

As it heads up the mountain, the car shows rocket ship acceleration skills as Nobuteru Taniguchi attacks the famous Gunsai touge. Around the corner awaits the R32 GT-R Group A Model, also driven by Taniguchi, but we're told this car is the kind you "drive with your heart."

It's pretty darn hard to choose one favorite between these two beasts, but maybe you'll be able to differentiate them better. The video is below, make sure you watch it and let us know your choice.
