HKS Toyota GT 86 Drifting Machine

Famous aftermarket and motorsport specialist HKS has turned the brand new Japanese RWD coupe, the Toyota 86 (Scion FR in US, GT 86 in Europe) into a drift racer.
The car is participating in the 2012 D1 GP and data gathered there will result in a slew of tuning parts that you can buy.

The 2.0-liter FA20 boxer engine has been tuned to produce 400 horsepower, thanks to a supercharger, HKS pistons, conrod, head gasket, a racing exhaust manifold, twin slip-on exhausts and of course a V-Pro ECU remap.

Everything else, the seats, tires, clutch, suspension has been changed. Watch the HKS 86 drift in the rain at the hands of Nob Taniguchi. That red car behind it is the Altezza (Lexus IS) driven by Max Orido.
