HJC Helmets is celebrating its 45th anniversary and is celebrating the milestone through the introduction of Star Wars themed helmets for 2017. Three of them got announced while more of them will be unveiled next year.
There will be three Star Wars character helmets released earlier in 2017, first being the one impersonating dark side leader Kylo Ren, with the graphics being applied on HJC’s top shelf RPHA 11 model.
The other character will be imprinted on the same helmet model and will be impersonating the ever-iconic Boba Fett. The third Star Wars helmet will have the Death Trooper (an adversary from the upcoming film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) on the FG-17 fiberglass helmet.
“We are thrilled to be working with the awe-inspiring brand that Lucasfilm has created,” President of HJC America George Hong said. “We anticipate great response around the world to the character graphics that we have chosen. In particular, riders and fans of Star Wars will love the RPHA 11 Kylo Ren’s special chrome and flat finish graphic design and the uniquely distressed graphic of the RPHA 11 Boba Fett. They are beyond cool!”
The Kylo Ren, Boba Fett, and the Death Trooper are just the tip of the iceberg as HJC is planning on adding more Star Wars themed helmets next year for more fans to wear and express their devotion towards the movie series.
The whole Star Wars helmet thing comes only months after Korean helmet manufacturer HJC released a Marvel superhero-themed line of lids. The head-turning helmets were impersonating The Punisher, Captain America, and Iron Man.
If by any chance you missed them, the trio is still on sale. The Punisher and Captain America are available in DOT and Snell approved sizes XS through 3XL (DOT only for 3XL) at a price of $175, while the Iron Made model costs $250 and comes in sizes ranging from XS to 2XL, DOT approved.
