Hitting the Apex is the newest movie made by Mark Neale, a producer that has made a name for himself by delivering no less than three other similar creations previously. Focusing once more on the MotoGP scene, Neale delivers the story of six riders and what they have been going through around the circuits.
The main stars ar Casey Stoner, Valentino Rossi, Jorge Lorenzo, and Dani Pedrosa, but Hitting the Apex also tells the story of Marc Marquez's becoming a name that was written down in the MotoGP history books with this unparalleled series of statistic records broken.

Sixth on the character list is the late Marco Simoncelli, unquestionably one of the most talented riders of the last decade and who, unfortunately, lost his life in a crash at Sepang, back in 2011. Simoncelli was also inducted as a MotoGP Legend posthumously in May 2014, becoming the 21st rider to receive this title.

Narrated by Brad Pitt, Hitting the Apex premieres at Silverstone on August 28

The premiere of the new motoGP movie will take place on August 28 at Silverstone, ahead of the British Grand Prix. However, it will show up in cinemas across Europe starting with September 2nd, with the rest of the world to follow later.

If you are a MotoGP fan, this movie is a must, as it looks like a very insightful incursion in the premier class scene, especially as the riders themselves play an active role in the story.

And to make things even better, Neale chose Brad Pitt as the narrator for Hitting the Apex. If you feel like you still need to be convinced, just hit play after the jump and let Brad Pitt's voice take you on this magic trip.
