Not too long ago we were showing you a really funny commercial from BMW featuring one of the coolest grannies ever caught on film. Heck, even Betty White could be upstaged by this woman and it appears like the Germans love her so they brought her back for a couple more commercials.
The duo was just released on Youtube today and this time it focuses on other areas of the car. If the last time we were introduced into the world of leather and its ... multiple uses, this time, Gram-Gram has its eye on other stuff.
Of course, she’s still sitting in the back for some unknown reason, as if those seats are even usable by a senior citizen, but nitpicking aside, we get the message: the BMW X5 has a nice moonroof.
What makes it even special is how the old lady remembers it, comparing it to the days when she was young and had to work really hard to watch the moon. As she puts it: she only saw the moon three times by the time she turned 16.
The second commercial is even funnier because it involves one of those tedious processes that has us explaining new technologies to older people. You try explaining to your grandfather how the Head-Up display works and we’ll see if you’re still laughing.
This is exactly what happens here too but our hipster granny refuses to take a hint. Oh, yeah, she won’t go down without a fight and if she thinks that HUD means something, she’ll stick with it. Just watch and learn!
