Hinson Clutch Components is showing their all-new clutch actuator kit for the Honda CRF450R, an upgrade which aims at educing the force needed to pull the lever.
The idea behind the new Hinson clutch actuator kit is as simple as it gets, and it looks it is equally brilliant, as well. The engineers have re-routed the clutch cable and thus eliminated many of the kinks the stock route had.
A new bracket is also in place, providing a much more direct routing, too. Actually the clutch cable was re-routed to the opposite side of the bike, also isolating the line from the tremendously hot header and header pipe. Eliminating heat from the equation also means the grease in your cable sleeve will last longer, just as the whole assembly.
The Hinson actuator kit comes complete with a clutch cable, actuator arm and cam assembly, clutch cable bracket and all the necessary hardware. It fits 2009-2014 Honda CRF450R machinery. Check out more details on the Hinson website.
