Hilary Duff was recently seen filling up the meter with cash after she parked her white Mercedes G 63. It looks like the parking ticket she got less than a week ago worked.

We already told you about Hilary Duff getting a parking ticket less than a week ago, while taking her white Mercedes G 63 to the gym. Like usual, seeing these folks living a regular life with all the daily problems we all face makes them look closer to normal people.
While some of the celebrities out there enjoy mocking authorities and pushing police officer’s patience to the edge, others actually show respect towards the law. At least that seems to be the case with A Cinderella Story star.

We bet you didn’t know that the oldest parking ticket ever registered was in Ancient Assyria in 700 BC. The parking restrictions were put in place in Nineveh, the capital or ancient Assyria. The restrictions are due to their king Sennacherib (704 to 681 BC) and pertained to the sacred main processional way though Nineveh.
The oldest parking signs ever discovered read “Royal Road – Let No Man Decrease It.” The penalty for parking a chariot on this road was allegedly death followed by impaling outside one’s own home. How about that for a parking ticket?
