Hesketh 24 Arrives in February 2014 in Ultra-Limited Run

Hesketh Motorcycles promises that February 2014 will see their first bike in the 21st century, in the shape of the Hesketh 24 a new motorcycle whose aim is to carry the heritage of the iconic British brand into the future.

The actual owner of Hesketh, Paul Sleeman says that the new bike is building on the design cues of the older models and offers an indication of the new direction the brand is following. The front miniature cowl and the lines of the tank are harking back to the other Hesketh era and retain the classic attire of the brand.

On the tech side, the bike will be powered by a 1,950cc v-twin and will roll with Öhlins suspensions, Beringer brakes, Brock's exhaust and BST carbon fiber wheels. The 22.7-liter tank is located under the engine, for a lower center of gravity.

No price or other tech specs have surfaced, but if you plan to get a Hesketh 24, you'd better get in touch with the manufacturer, as only 24 bikes will be made. Sleeman adds they're working on a two-seater version, but nobody known when will it become available.
