This is the result of the Indian company acquiring a minority share in EBR, earlier this year. Even more, the ties between the two have grown even stronger as Hero is sponsoring the EBR AMA Pro Road Racing Championship team, and the Americans share some of their bike-making expertise with the Indians, helping them create bikes with better specs and by all means, contemporary look.

Hero motorcycles and scooter will be sold through EBR's still small dealership network. In case things go well, we might see Hero helping EBR open more dealerships across the US and even trying to come up with its own showrooms, even though the latter possibility is rather unlikely.

What matters the most is that Hero's presence in North America will be stronger and this is a solid advantage over other Indian manufacturers.
