Hero Hastur Video Introduction

The partnership between Hero Motocorp and Erik Buell Racing is already productive, for both parts. It's now time for one of Hero's biggest bike concept to date to step into the sportlight: Hastur, the streetfighter.

Hero is taking one step at the time toward becoming a manufacturer with a world-class line-up, and this 620cc parallel-twin streetfighter concept is one more proof that the Indians want to make it big in the Western markets.

A true middleweight sporty recreational bike, the final market shape of the Hastur may prove to be a really solid competitor in the aforementioned markets, especially with the EBR DNA involved in its creation, modern looks and affordable pricing.

We've already seen Royal Enfield lowering the price for their bikes in order to make them more attractive on the new markets, and seeing Hero doing the same will not surprise anyone.

The Hastur is said to deliver around 80hp, which should make the 159.7 kg (352 lbs) bike really fun to ride aggressively. Wonder whether the bike will make it into the European and North American markets in the same aggressive shape...
