As you might know, INTERMOT 2016 starts tomorrow, and Ducati will bring some special machinery there. With that in mind, here are some bikes we’ll see there once the show starts.
You all heard about that exquisite new SuperSport Ducati is working on, right? Well, the wait will end soon, as the new bike will be unveiled tomorrow at 6 pm, ending the press-only day on this key international motorcycle exhibition.
As described by Ducati, “the new SuperSport is a bike for those eager to ride sports-style on everyday roads. Fun, versatile and accessible, with true Ducati sports styling and zest, the SuperSport promises exciting, fun riding sensations while ensuring everyday comfort and easy handling whatever the roads are like. An innovative leap that, even before its debut, has won widespread support and aroused considerable interest; at Cologne, the SuperSport is set to steal the limelight, to say the least.”
The SuperSport is not everything Ducati has to offer in 2017, so you’ll also going to see their new “Volcano Gray” color showcased on the Multistrada 1200 S, a bike which also gets a new airbox in the intake zone and a new engine calibration to get a more satisfying mid-range power delivery.
New Euro 4 compliant engines will be deployed in the Monster 821 and Diavel, both debuting at INTERMOT. The Monster 821 range will also be available in the “Dust Grey” color which perfectly matches the red frame and wheels.
More important upgrades have been applied to the Ducati Superbike family. The 1299 Panigale and 1299 Panigale S now come with the latest EVO version of Ducati Traction Control (DTC) as well as Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), features first seen on the 1299 Panigale S Anniversario only.
The INTERMOT show will be open for public access on October 5th, and Ducati will be in Hall 8 on Stand A42/50 if you want to check out their new machines.
