Camping in one of those ugly beige or white caravans can get boring and they don’t really offer a home-like comfort. The next step would be to upgrade to a house on wheels and the latest model from Tiny Heirloom will blow your mind, being the smartest one you can buy.
We showed you a couple of other wheeled homes, but they’re not as cool as this one. For starters, it really looks like a house, not like a backyard tool shed mounted on a trailer.

The interior looks like a spread from one of those IKEA catalogs, with wooden furniture, quality materials, tiles, wood or bamboo floors and everything in between. It really is a complete miniature house on wheels, with a bathroom, a cooker stove, washing machine, heating system, proper illumination and everything else you could need to live decent and comfortable.

iHome in disguise

However, the Tiny Heirloom comes with an ace in its sleeve - hidden technology. It’s stacked with speakers, LED lightning, the possibility to power it using wind, sun or running creek water. But the icing on the cake comes with the Home Automation Systems, which offers handsfree lighting, voice activated door locks, auto thermostats, auto-leveling jacks, tank level indication and propane level readings, as well as Bluetooth surround audio, all controlled by an app on your smartphone with no wireless Internet connection needed.

Home will be wherever you’ll park with this little house on wheels, but all comes at a price. The basic version starts at $65,000 (€52,700), which is quite a lot for a camping house. From a different point of view though, you can just buy one, get off the grid and go explore the world.
