Oh. My. LEGO. The force goes deep with the Danish toy maker. Star Wars: The Force Awakens may not be about today’s means of transportation, but the future sees us traveling from Earth to Mars as we do now from L.A. to New York. This is why we need to pay attention to these crafts, you never know when they turn into taxis.
OK, maybe we’re pushing the limits of space technology a little too much, but we had to mention LEGO’s new Star Wars: The Force Awakens kits because they’re just amazing. Dead are the days when people would call the Danish toy maker a kids dream manufacturer. Let’s face it, if it weren't for the busy days at work, we’d all be playing with these bricks.

Here’s what we need to know. The lineup of sets for Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens has recently leaked, and it looks marvelous. We’re not brick experts here, but according to The Brothers Brick, there’s no word yet on precisely when these puppies will hit the stores. It shouldn’t be longer than a month or two, though. Let us look closer for a change.

First Order Special Forces TIE Fighter is priced at $70 and comes with the famous starfighters. In the movie, they’re propelled by twin ion engines, being fast, fragile spacecraft produced by Sienar Fleet Systems for the Galactic Empire. These bad boys have been around for a while now, being present in the original Star Wars trilogy and throughout the Star Wars Expanded Universe.

The list of new LEGO kits continues with Rey’s Speeder - expected to be $20 and the 444-piece First Order Snowspeeder priced at $40. Poe’s X-Wing Fighter couldn’t miss this picture, of course, and it will cost you an expected $80. First Order Transporter, Kylo Ren’s Commander Shuttle and the oh-so-popular Millennium Falcon are also a component of the game.
