By now you guys are probably quite used to seeing young artists constantly changing the looks of their daily driver. Some change the wraps every six months or so, others work on the vehicle’s color, rims and whatnot. Texas-based pop singer Austin Mahone had his Range Rover changed after the drawings of a talented fan, who designed the looks for him.
So the story is pretty simple. Austin Mahone is a young aspiring pop artist from Texas who loves his Ranger Rover and keeps upgrading it on every occasion he has. Some of our readers seem to be quite fond of the young fellow, so we figured finding out more about the new wrap won’t harm.
Turns out, the work is in fact the result of what a big fan drew. The drafts were sent to Metro Wrapz and were later designed into an actual car wrap, so it could fit on the Range.
Austin was asked to choose one of the 10 models and then the guys at the shop started doing their magic. When the job was done, Mahone invited his fan to join him when he’d pick up the luxury SUV.
Katie Porter and her mom flew over to Miami to meet Austin and check out how the pop artist’s Range Rover make up turned out. And since the singer is so famous and all, people at the auto shop figured it would be nice if they filmed everything. So here’s what the whole little adventure looked like.
PS: Now we know why being famous is sometimes helpful, you get to have fans doing stuff for you for free…
