Here’s How a Special BMW Z4 Comes to Life

Not too long ago we were showing you another unique project from the Carlex Design crew, this time a Z4 Roadster. We couldn’t agree more with their choice, especially since this particular Bimmer is one of the few that actually stands out in a good way when it comes to interior design.
That’s right, today, all BMW interiors look the same which can be a good or a bad thing. It’s a good thing because you don’t have to get acquainted with the details inside every car. You know how things work in a 3 Series, you know how they work in every other model and you’ll find your way around the cabin in no time.

On the other hand, it makes everything dull and boring. Sure, the materials are top notch but some people want their car to stand out inside as well as on the outside.

That’s where companies like Carlex Design step in

If you’re into bespoke interiors but you don’t want to switch from the BMW brand you have two choices: go for the Individual range or go to a tuner like Carlex Design. Either way you’ll get a bespoke finish that not many people can brag with.

However, there’s a big difference between these two choices. While the Individual manufacturing process is done from the get go, the other choice involves taking apart every part inside the car and putting back together after it was wrapped in all sorts of leathers and expensive materials. Don’t believe us? Check out how this Z4 was done in the video below.
