We found out a lot about the Lexus NX recently, like the fact its underpinnings are very different from the Toyota RAV4, it has a rear-wheels dedicated electric motor in the AWD hybrid model, it looks different from the EU version and that there will be a special edition one designed by will.i.am. But we don’t know how fast will the 200t version will be.
Lexus has finally decided to add a turbocharged engine in its lineup to lineup with the trends and possibly ditch those old V6s. And the first car to hold it under the hood is the all-new NX crossover that will wear the 200t badge at the back to announce the forced induction happening there.

The new four-cylinder unit is good for 235 bhp and 258 lb-ft, but how does that translate in real life? Well, the automaker hasn’t revealed yet the official acceleration times for it, but luckily the guys over at autobytel though to give it a try and post their results.

So, the best they could achieve in the 200t all-wheel-drive was a 0 to 60 mph time of 8.2 seconds with the driving mode set to SPORT and the Traction Control tuned OFF.

Which is pretty good if you consider the fact that they tested the car up in the mountains and it was also a pre-production model. Check the times in other modes bellow.
