However, the car world's dark side involves hearses, so why not approach a light-hearted attitude and talk about this hearse concept, called the Korbiyor.
Now, hearses come in all sizes and shapes, with the most expensive ones being based on Mercedes-Benz platforms or even Maybachs for that matter. But how about an autonomous electric hears, that will keep you in line with the trends even when you're preparing to leave this world?
Sounds crazy, I know, but someone thought about it, and that's how we ended up here, talking about the The Korbiyor, which is basically an all-wheel drive electric vehicle capable of moving in any direction.
According to The Globe and Mail, it features mecanum wheels and "can enter a church and position itself" without damaging the floor. Also, the concept can be programmed to follow the funeral process leader.
But there's more. The prototype features a transparent coffin refrigerated by Korbiyor's fuel cell. Other than that, it could complete a course all by itself, by simply following a pre-established path and speed, although we're wondering how on Earth would the authorities allow it to roam freely on the streets and in traffic conditions while also carrying a dead man in the process.
