We're actually getting used to G-Power using all kinds of natural disasters to name their cars. The F01 7 Series was recently put through G-Power's treatment and the resulting car is now named 706i Storm.
The limited edition Storm (10 models world-wide) was heavily modified, as you might expect. This time, instead of changing an M version BMW the German tuner decided to create a luxurious car that will accelerate as fast as a proper sports one.

The 6.0-liter V12 bi-turbo engine has been radically changed without affecting reliability. The boost pressure has been increased, therefore the car is now 181 HP more powerful adding up to a total of 725 HP with 1000 Nm of torque (available from just 2,000 RPM).

Of course, that was not the only performance tuning done to the car. Larger injection valves and a new exhaust system were fitted along with a re-programmed engine control software and significant modifications for the gearbox in order to cope with the 1,000 Nm torque.

The 760i Storm reaches 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds and after another 7 and a half second it's already at 200 km/h going all the way up to a possible top speed of 345 km/h.

The G-Power project also received a complete body kit made out of carbon fibre in order to keep the weight as low as possible. The interior has been redesigned and now has an ergonomically shaped steering wheel, custom G-Power speedometer, fine carbon rails for the side casing, central console and dashboard and leather and ultra-suede colors for everything inside the cabin of the 7er.
