Here's a Cheap Cadillac Escalade Ripoff from China

Although we live in a society where anything can be duplicated, we still believe the phrase “Nothing beats the original.” This applies to the Chinese Cadillac Escalade EXT called Shanxi Victory Jinchi X1 which represents the reason why Chinese people should leave making American cars to the Americans.
The recently revealed vehicle is nothing more than an awful copy of the grand Cadillac Escalade pickup. It seems that the guys from Shanxi Victory Group weren’t too creative and decided to steal the Cadillac design and make one mess of a vehicle.

Chinese folks won’t be getting a V8 6.0-liter engine as in the original car. They’ll have to accept a poor 4-cylinder, 2.0-liter engine that’s capable of only about 100 hp and 193 Nm (142 lb-ft). When it comes to the interior, they shouldn’t expect some luxurious features as they will be really disappointed. It’s all about plastic this time.

Oh well, a knockoff is still a knockoff even if it might look like the original. So, if you don’t have enough money to buy the original, it’s better not to buy anything at all.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
