Here is a Ten-Second E 55 AMG Killing it on the Drag Strip

Built from 2002 until 2006, the E 55 AMG variant of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class W211 was the fastest V8-powered sedan in the Stuttgart manufacturer's lineup, with its standard power and torque being one of the main reasons that in the last decade or so we have witnessed the greatest power war in the history of the automobile.
Just think about it, to go from a not-too-shabby 354 hp and 530 Nm (391 lb ft) of torque in the E 55 AMG W210 to no less than 476 hp and 700 Nm (516 lb ft) of torque in the course of just a single generation required a good amount of gonads from Mercedes-AMG GmbH.

A stock E 55 AMG W211 could do naught to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.7 seconds, while on a good day the quarter mile could be done in a little over 12 seconds, making it almost as fast as Porsche 911 Turbo of the 997.1 variety.

Now, imagine how fast would an E 55 AMG W211 be if its original IHI supercharger would be swapped with a three-liter supercharger from Weistec Engineering. Trust us, it's very fast.

So fast in fact, that it can do the quarter mile (402 m) in the tens now, shaming quite a lot of modern supercars.

The video below shows such an example, of which we sadly don't have any specification numbers, though we are pretty sure its M113 supercharged 5.4-liter V8 develops at least 600 hp at the rear wheels by the time and trap speed it manages to achieve in this drag race.
