Since the Toyota GT 86 / Scion FR-S has been released on the market last year, people started to brag that the sports coupe is not fast enough. What they didn’t get was the fact that Toyota wanted to offer people a vehicle that provides lots of fun, great looks, reliability and convenience for around $23,000.
Of course, if you want more power, or want to shave some seconds on the track, you are free to bolt on aftermarket parts and create you own little racecar. And with no modifications to the engine itself, you can make the car go faster around the track only by adding three main ingredients.
GTChannel recently took a Scion FR-S to Buttonwillow Raceway Park in order to test the new mods on the car. Their FR-S was equipped with Winmax Circuit Performance W4 brake pads, a KW suspension system and a set of sticky NTO5 Nitto tires.
