Hennessey Shows Performance Update for 2013 Focus ST

Some of you car lovers may have heard of Hennessey… you know, the guys who turn Lotus Elise chassis into 1000+ hp monsters on a weekly basis.
They're usually too busy tuning RWD drag racing cars to notice what normal people are driving, but their boss John Hennessey has bought an every day car about a month ago. His idea of a shopping trolley was the 2013 Focus ST.

He left it stock for a a few weeks because he just wanted a daily driver that gets good mileage and needs fewer stops at the gas station. Unfortunetely, the Focus ST has a small tank, so still needs frequent filling up, but John still likes it and started the tuning programs soon after he bought the car.

In stock form, the Focus ST is powered by a 2.0 liter EcoBoost 4-cylinder engine making 247-hp and 266 lb-ft of torque. Hennessey's car is called the HPE300, and that's what it makes!

The HPE300 Upgrade Package Includes:
• HPE Air Induction System
• HPE Engine Management Calibration
• Hennessey Exterior Badging
• Serial-Numbered Dash & Engine Plaques

All this equipment adds $995 to what you payed for the Focus. You can also opt to have a new stainless steel cat-back exhaust system for another $695.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
