Remember the Hennessey-tuned Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG that was trying to demolish a dyno stand with its monstrous torque? No? How about the Hennessey-tuned Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG that didn't make a fool out of itself in a drag race with a mighty Nissan GT-R?
Either way, Hennesey Performance decided to refresh your memory with a couple of photos of their fast G-Wagen, a car which may very well be one of the fastest bricks on wheels that has ever been documented.

Featuring the HPE700 upgrade package, which is somewhat standardized on every AMG model that sports the M157 engine, this inconspicuous-looking G 63 AMG sports no less than 710 hp and 1085 Nm (800 lb ft) of torque at the crank.

In order to achieve these unholy performance figures, Hennesey Performance fitted the 5.5-liter, twin-turbocharged V8 with an HPE Air Induction System Modification and a new ECU, but there is no word if the exhaust system or the turbochargers have also been touched.

Apart from the exterior badging, this white cupboard with wheels may very well be one of the coolest Q-cars out there, as nobody in their right mind would ever believe that this behemoth could keep up with Porsches and Nissan GT-Rs from a dig.

As with most other Hennessey Performance products, the HPA700 upgrade package comes with a three year/36,000 miles warranty and, if you also want some show to go with that flow, a range of wheel and tire packages, suspension upgrades and various carbon fiber trim accessories.

Meanwhile, let's have another look at how this 710 hp G 63 AMG manages to remain proud against a stock 2013 Nissan GT-R in a drag race, be cause we were impressed as hell.
