We are now less than a week away from receiving the sharpest tool in the naturally-aspirated 2015 Ford Mustang shed, namely the Shelby GT350. While we are more than happy to be able to meet this pony on the NAIAS floor, its introduction also means we still have some waiting to do until the GT500 big muscle kahuna lands. Nevertheless, Hennessey is here to cater to out supercharged needs.
We’ve talked about the Texan tuner’s HPE700 supercharger upgrade for the 2015 Mustang and now they’re throwing some dyno footage at us. While the clip below should provide compressed quality time, especially from the aural point of view, the dyno results are rather impressive.

Hennessey explains the crank value sit at 717 hp and 632 lb-ft, while the dyno run shows 663 horses and 525 lb-ft of twist at the rear wheels.

Here are the main goodies in this package:
  • 2.9 Liter Supercharger System
  • HPE Air Induction System
  • Upgraded Fuel Injectors
  • Upgraded Fuel Pump
  • All Necessary Gaskets & Fluids
  • HPE Engine Management Calibration
Since Hennessey has already revealed the 3.6 seconds time for the 0 to 62 mph sprint and the 11.2 seconds quarter mile play time, we are now eager to see their HPE700 ‘Stang hit the drag strip.

Speaking of which, we’ll remind you that earlier today, we brought you a series of real-world 1/4 mile results from a private event that saw a group of enthusiasts put the 2015 Dodge Challenger Hellcat, the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 and the Dodge Viper, as well as the C6 Corvette ZR1 to quarter mile work. The tire-melting action took place on the Lonestar Motorsports Park in Sealy Texas, which happens to be the playground of choice for Hennessey.
