Hennessey HPE500 Supercharged Ram in Action

We’ve already gotten used to the tuners at Hennessey Performance Engineering (HPE) and their quest of squeezing even the last drop of juice out of American vehicles, so their new Hennessey HPE500 Supercharged Ram upgrade is no surprise for us. While not many find high-performance pickups appealing, some could see it as a show-off tool. And it could really manage to turn some heads thanks to the TVS2300 Supercharger System. Specifically, what that upgrade does is that it helps the 2009 – 2011 5.7L HEMI Ram 1500 pickups increase the output to 505 hp at 5,400 rpm. We’ll remind you that the standard 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine develops 390 horsepower and 407 lb.-ft. of torque (552 Nm). You can check out the 2011 Dodge Ram truck being tested with its 500 HP pavement-pounding supercharger upgrade in the video below this article. However, the specialists at Hennessey focused mostly on the performance mods, without changing much of the vehicle’s overall appearance. In fact, it’s the sound of the engine revving that could help bystanders make a difference between the regular model and the HPE500. HPE500 upgrade includes:
• TVS2300 Supercharger System
• HPE Air Induction System
• Fuel Injector Upgrade
• Stainless Steel Cat-Back Exhaust
• Professional Installation
• HPE Engine Management Calibration
• Chassis Dyno & Road Testing
• Hennessey Exterior Badging
• Hennessey Premium Floormats
• Hennessey Enbroidered Headrests
• Serial-Numbered Dash & Engine Plaques
• 3 Year / 36,000 Mile Limited Warranty

HPE500 optional upgrades are resumed below:

• Stainless Steel Long Tube Headers
• High Flow Catalytic Converters
• Premium Wheel & Tire Packages
• Lowered or Raised Suspension Systems
• Bumpers, Guards & Exterior Lighting
