We don’t really know any people who would say that 640 hp and 813 Nm (600 lb-ft) is not enough to power a car, any car! If these, the power and torque figures of the all-new SRT Viper, don’t seem enough to you, a doctor’s appointment is recommended.
However, there is another way to boost the performance of a Viper to extreme levels, with the help of a little-known company called Hennessey, the makers of the Venom GT hypercar. Taking your car to their shop, the 8.4-liter V10 engine gets drastically modified and upgraded, featuring high-flow cylinder heads, as well as a vast array of add-ons, including long-tube headers, high-flow catalytic converters, a revised exhaust system, and a K&M air filter.

All the aforementioned mods, included in a pack called 700R, raise the total power output to 725 hp and 942 Nm (695 lb-ft). A real bonus with Hennessey, however, is the fact that they do offer warranty for everything they do, and the 700R gets one as well, good for three years or 36,000 miles.

Now, if 725 hp seems a bit too low for you, and if the new 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) time of 3.1 seconds is still not good enough, then Hennessey will do a twin-turbo kit for the big V10, which boosts its power all the way to 1,120 hp. It also gets carbon fiber front splitter, rear lip spoiler, racing wing on the back and canards on the sides of the nose.
