From a little workshop with a passion for modifying cars to one of the most acclaimed tuning companies in the world, Hennessey Performance Engineering has come a long way. In fact, the ‘Stang in the gallery is quite a milestone for the Texas-based outfit, celebrating the 10,000th build since John Hennessey set up shop.
2019 Hennessey Heritage Edition Mustang is how it’s called, and as you can tell from the way it looks, the 808-horsepower brute is inspired by the 2018 Ford GT Heritage Edition. The 5.0-liter Coyote V8 has been supercharged to achieve that output at 7,200 rpm, with torque going up to 677 pound-feet at 4,500 rpm.

Capable of sprinting to 60 miles per hour in 3.3 seconds provided that you launch the Heritage Edition as smoothly as possible, the pumped-up ‘Stang will keep on accelerating until the speedometer shows in excess of 200 miles per hour. That’s supercar quick, and more impressively, Hennessey offers a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty that works in conjunction with the factory warranty from the Ford Motor Company.

“This is one of the most beautiful Mustang we’ve ever built, and it has the power and performance to match its gorgeous looks,” said John Hennessey. “We are very grateful to our customers, team members, dealers, family, and friends who’ve shared and supported our passion for building powerful, fast, fun vehicles for the past 27 years.”

Available to order from Hennessey Performance Engineering and two Ford dealers (Sterling McCall Ford in Houston and Brown Lee Ford in Nashville), the newcomer crosses the quarter-mile finish line in 10.7 seconds at a velocity of 132 miles per hour.

In addition to the go-faster stripes and graphics package, the Heritage Edition comes with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, 20-inch alloy wheels, CarbonAero bits and pieces, upgraded fuel injectors and fuel pump, air-to-water intercooler for the 3.0-liter supercharger, lowered suspension system, embroidered headrests, and a numbered plaque that reads “1 of 19.”

As an optional extra, the customer can upgrade the braking system to six- and four-piston calipers from Brembo with 15.1-inch rotors on all corners. Pricing, you ask? That would be $89,950, thank you!
