One could think that a rider with no helmet would be a tad more careful when it comes to his own health and well-being in traffic, and would observe the other vehicles quite attentively, trying to stay out of trouble.
Such a scenario is of course, highly plausible in most cases, but it's definitely not a rule of thumb, and the present video is just the perfect proof.
We really thought the scooter rider would observe the traffic on the road he planned to merge with, especially as he was to give way to incoming vehicles, anyway. And that the absence of a helmet would make him drive more carefully... not.
The guy simply smashed head-on into the side of a truck which was pulling form the main road, and we're really surprised to see the lucky guy still on his feet. We've already seen similar accidents with fatal consequences because of a broken neck, so yes, this one was a really lucky rider!
