The city of Frankfurt might be friendly to cars, hosting one of the world’s top auto shows every year, but it doesn’t have the same attitude when it comes to motorcycle... clubs. The city has recently banned two chapters of the Hells Angels bike club, also confiscating their assets, as Reuters writes.
The authorities are keeping a close eye on motorcycle clubs and said that the reason behind the move was the fact that members have criminal records that include violent behavior, as well as drug- or weapon-related offenses. The case goes even further, as a recent reports from the German federal criminal office reveals that one in ten investigations into organized crime has shown links to a motorcycle club.

Hells Angels came to life in California almost 60 years ago, with the club’s German wing debuting in 1970.
