Hellcat-Powered Jeep Grand Wagoneer Has Room To Spare, Shaved Bumpers

With SUVs enjoying more traction than ever these days, gear heads have started looking for the offroaders that played the game before it was cool. And when it comes to this category, things don't get much better than the Jeep Grand Wagoneer.
Of course, the modding culture has grown too and when the two circles overlap, we end up with amazing builds.

For now, we'll stick to a virtual project, with the rendering we have here portraying the old-school equivalent of the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk.

As Abimelec Arellano, the digital artist behind this stunt, explains in a social media post, he wanted to create something that could be picked up right from the showroom. And with those wooden panels still attached to the car, the vehicle would make for quite a special offering, even if we don''t focus on its gym trip. Wait, what?

The most impressive feature of this offroader can be found inside the engine compartment. Despite this now being occupied by a Hellcat motor, there's still room to spare.

Since the contraption we have here is intender for road miles rather than extreme trails, the ride height was lowered, while the front axle now accommodates a RAM-inspired independent suspension.

With the 700+ ponies expected to take this Jeep well into the triple-digit area of the speedometer, the roof rails were removed, while the bumpers were cleaned up and are now tucked into the body.

Oh, and let's not forget those wheels, which will spark controversy over being inspired by the shoes of the 70s Chevy C10.

Don't worry - it's only normal if you look at this rendering and feel the urge to get behind the wheel of such a machine. Who knows? With SEMA set to open its gates in one month from now, perhaps we'll get a fresh Grand Wagoneer build...

The Jeep Grand Wagoneer has skyrocketed in price the last couple years compared to early in the decade, and with good reason! Looks great, its huge and by the last years of production it was a really well developed vehicle in terms of parts and servicing. I’ve seen a lot of awesome builds lately, like the Collins Bros. Jeep Hellcat swapped, Cherry red Wagoneer and a lot of Off-road stuff. That got me thinking what I could do with one that was something different, but retained the Wagoneer’s main attraction, the looks. After looking at Wagoneers for a while it hit me: Pro-Touring! What if you could drive a Wagoneer the same way you’d drive a brand new Trackhawk off the lot? This is how I imagine it would look like. Of course, you know me, Hellcat swap was a must, lower ride height, wide wheels and meaty tires (along with a RAM-inspired independent front suspension that you can peek in the 2nd picture). Looks wise I knew I couldn’t do much, bumpers are shaved and tucked into the body, roof rack is gone, interior is all blue leather, the wheels are inspired by early ‘70s Chevy C10 wheels and the wood absolutely HAD to stay. This would cost a fortune to build to be honest, But I absolutely love it. What do you think about it, do you know anyone who’d like to daily this? Would you go Hellcat or 6.4? Maybe an LS 🤣 Have a nice Sunday! . . . . . . . . #jeep #amc #grand #wagoneer #woody #suv #v8 #hellcat #hemi #mopar #supercharged #protouring #trackhawk #ram #independant #3d #render
