For now, we'll stick to a virtual project, with the rendering we have here portraying the old-school equivalent of the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk.
As Abimelec Arellano, the digital artist behind this stunt, explains in a social media post, he wanted to create something that could be picked up right from the showroom. And with those wooden panels still attached to the car, the vehicle would make for quite a special offering, even if we don''t focus on its gym trip. Wait, what?
The most impressive feature of this offroader can be found inside the engine compartment. Despite this now being occupied by a Hellcat motor, there's still room to spare.
Since the contraption we have here is intender for road miles rather than extreme trails, the ride height was lowered, while the front axle now accommodates a RAM-inspired independent suspension.
With the 700+ ponies expected to take this Jeep well into the triple-digit area of the speedometer, the roof rails were removed, while the bumpers were cleaned up and are now tucked into the body.
Oh, and let's not forget those wheels, which will spark controversy over being inspired by the shoes of the 70s Chevy C10.
