The Dodge Challenger might pack a bit of an older Mercedes-Benz E-Class underneath it, but these German bits are where the similarities between the Mopar animal and the BMW 1 Series Coupe end. Nevertheless, this didn't stop the drivers of two such velocity toys from engaging in a drag race.
The two got together as part of a hot summer night on the highway and decided to go at it. As usual when it comes to street racing, the hooners went for the rolling start, since this causes less traffic disruption and allows them to get out of the area quicker.
According to details delivered on social media, the Challenger came to the battle in stock form, so we're talking about 707 ponies.
However, we can't say the same about the Beemer. This is an 135i, with the machine having received full bolt-ons. And with the N54 straight-six heart of the Bavarian machine having plenty of tuning potential, the result of the gym trip are pretty serious.
