Not too long after the muscular arm of Dodge's SRT division lifted the veil off the Challenger Hellcat, the feline predator that stands as the Hellcat badge became available as decals.

Fast-forwarding to today, many months after the introduction of these boosted stickers, many people still see these as "controversial". Each time a picture of a 707 HP Challenger wearing the Hellcat decals on its rear fenders pops up on the Internet, it sparks a debate.

Certain people, who know their muscle car history and have seen the cubic capacity decals on the sides of retro Mopar machines, are fine with the idea of displaying the demonic kitten in your engine bay.

There's also a part of the audience that sees these graphics as [insert your ostentatious synonym here] and keeps complaining about it.

The interned will always feed on such debates (after all, the phenomenon has led to this article), so we're not going to make further comments on the social component of these decals.

Nevertheless, we want to talk about where they come from. Your first option is obviously the Mopar catalogue. For $295 Chrysler's parts and accessories division will have the "SRT" letters show right above your rear wheel, while the Hellcat logo will be split between the rear fender and the door.

The product description even matches the exuberant 707 hp output of the car - "SRT Hellcat Bodyside Graphic - Low Gloss Black (Note: Product ships in an oversized box."

Mopar doesn't also offer the graphics for the Charger. But if you feel your fastest sedan in the world can't make it without letting everybody know it's got considerably more power than the version the police uses, you can always turn to aftermarket developers.

We have to mention prices sit at about 60% of the official one mentioned above. Nevertheless, if you own a Challenger, the small difference means you'll be better off with the official goodie.

The gallery bellow offers you examples for each flavor - the just-Black decalls come from Mopar, the rest are on the othde side of the aftermarket arena. The retro images with the original Hemi Cuda decals are on the house.
