The Finnish motorsport press has begun to speculate a possible move of F1 driver Heikki Kovalainen from his current team, Caterham, to Ferrari, as of the 2013 season.
If the rumors turn out to be true, the Finn would race alongside Fernando Alonso, and replace Brazilian driver, Felipe Massa, who has not performed as well as Ferrari were hoping he would.

If the move turns out to be true, it would mean the end of Kovalainen’s lead role in the Caterham team, a role which he fulfilled for three years. His previous team, before moving to Caterham in 2009, was McLaren, where he drove alongside Lewis Hamilton.

It seems that 2013 is the season of change in F1, with drivers being shuffled about, as teams struggle to get ahead, and so, the upcoming season will undoubtedly be an interesting one.
