Repairing a hypercar is probably the most expensive kind of car repair known to man. They require so much carbon fiber, and exotic materials, as well as bespoke parts, that the final price tag for any body repairs probably runs in the hundreds of thousands.
This Koenigsegg CCXR was recently spotted in Johannesburg, South Africa, sporting many new body panels (including the entire front end), as well as some filler here-and-there. We don’t really know how the car ended up in this condition, but we can speculate that the crash which caused it must have been a very severe one.

We won’t even dare to speculate how much the repair job cost, but we know that even from this point on, the repainting, a new windscreen (which is curved and very oddly shaped - very expensive, as well) and side windows will definitely push the price up by a considerable margin.

At least the owner didn’t abandon the car as a wreck and he got it back on the road, and for that we applaud the effort! People need to see and enjoy such cars, and just driving around in the state it is in, still put a smile on many faces, without a doubt.
