Heather Locklear Busted for Driving Under Some Sort of Influence

What is it about celebrities that makes them think they can escape the long arm of the law? They always end up doing very bad or otherwise offensive things and expect to get off the hook. And nothing is more common and widespread on the streets of Hollywood than the DUI (for those of you who aren't familiar with American acronyms, DUI stands for Driving Under the Influence).

From rock stars, movie stars and ending with political figures (and sometimes their offspring), they all indulge in having a little drink and then a little drive. The last person to be caught doing exactly that is the formerly sexy blond bombshell, Heather Locklear who got busted on Saturday night in Santa Monica for “driving erratically”.

Now some of you might have seen this coming, Heather not being herself lately, only last month undergoing treatment for anxiety and depression. And now this ... according to reports, Heather was pulled over by the California Highway Patrol, who determined that alcohol wasn't involved but that the actress was driving while impaired.

Judging by the way she looks in her mugshot, which by the way is priceless, you can totally see that there is something wrong with Heather. I mean, you don't need a field sobriety test to see her pupils are dilated as if she'd just found out she won an Oscar or something. And since that's not the case, one can only suspect illegal substances being used.

The cherry on the cake? Some time ago, her ex-husband rocker Richard Sambora was busted for a DUI while their daughter, Ava was in the car. Naturally, she took it pretty bad and decided to sue. Since then, the two have been embroiled in a bitter divorce/custody battle. Now, it seems that fate is not without a sense of humor, as the accuser has become the accused, Heather stands to fall for exactly the same thing, except her daughter wasn't in the car.

But at the end of the day, all that matters is the mugshot, because we're all shallow like that. Oh, and  latest reports speak of some prescription drugs being involved, but that still doesn't mean she was cleared to drive. And let's be honest here, popping an aspirin or two never made your pupils dilate like that.
