Hear the BMW M235i Racing Roar on the Track

A couple of fortunate journalists already got to drive the insane BMW M235i Racing car just a couple of days ago. They were invited by BMW to give their insights on the car.

Amongst them were the guys from European Car Magazine and Grassroots Motorsports, both deciding to also record part of their experience and share it with us, the less fortunate.

The new M235i Racing is the closest thing to a proper M2 right now, being especially developed for private racing teams. The car is expected to enter the VLN Championship and 24 Hours of Nurburgring race this year.

As far as the specs go, the 3-liter engine was revised and is now making 333 HP. The car also received a mechanical limited-slip differential, FIA-certified safety cell, M Performance front and rear spoilers, a new diffusor and carbon wing mirrors.

The best thing about it, according to these videos, is the engine sound. Just listen to that kitty purr!
