Hear a Brown Aston Martin One-77 Revving Its Heart Out

Did we mention that brown (!) is making a comeback? How about this ladies and gentleman - the last car you’d ever expect to see in this color, a stunning Aston Martin One-77.
This is one of the most popular videos on today and comes from F14BigAl, who filmed the ultra-rare Aston at an organized event called Wilton House supercars. To be fair, this is a sort of maroon, and it looks really cool on the car.

We’re not really interested in the color, as the video is all about the way that glorious 7.3-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine that very few mortals will ever be able to control. The Aston Martin One-77's magnificent powerplant is an extreme evolution of the 6.0-liter V12 engines fitted to the Aston Martin DBS, DB9 and new V12 Vantage models.

The magnificent beast you hear revving in the video delivers all of its 700+ horsepower to the rear wheels via a new six-speed gearbox. Controlled via column-mounted paddles behind the steering wheel, this sequential manual is a new generation of Aston Martin's familiar box.
