Suzuki has revealed the first details of their special edition Japan-only GSX-1300R Hayabusa.
Like many other manufacturers which load the latest technologies in the new bikes for 2014, Suzuki has endowed the new Japan Hayabusa with S- DMS (Suzuki Drive Mode Selector) and electronic traction control, which will be standard equipment.
It looks like riders were thrilled with the introduction of traction control in the 2014 V-Strom 1000 we reported on earlier and the ETC system will be ported to more machinery.
Japanese Hayabusa customers will ride a 197 hp machine which can deliver 155 Nm (114.2 ft-lbs). Add in the 266 kg (587 lb) weight in the mix for this prototype, Brembo monoblock calipers and ABS and you get a full sport-touring package which seems better than anything before it.
