Have You Ever Seen a Police "Chase" in Reverse Gear?

Never say never - one lame driver's decision to pull a burnout on the street has now provided us with two things we didn't expect to see too soon.
First of all, we are referring to watching one of those slammed rides that have turned camber into a religion pulling a burnout. People who customize their cars in such a manner are not after badass driving stunts, simply because their tuning path turns many hooning moves into suicidal ones.

Well, the driver of a stanced Scion FR-S decided to show us what happens when you pull a burnout with only a small fraction of the tire width touching the road.

While we have to admit that move was mildly entertaining, the guy went at it on the streets of Ocean City, Maryland.

It didn't take too long for the police to notice his shenanigan and step in. We're not sure if the officers were unpleased with his public road behavior or just wanted to let him now he was pulling a weak burnout.

Regardless, the way in which the two sides interacted bring us to the second rare occurrence we mentioned in the intro, namely a police "chase" in reverse.

The police car was well in front of the Scion when the burnout started, with the two sharing a three-lane one-way street. As a result, the officers didn't rush to turn the car around and go against the traffic to hand the guy a ticket. Noticing this, the man backed up through other cars, fleeing the scene on a side street.

While there's no official info on this, the rumor mill tells us the guy was caught and arrested. Given the appearance of his car, it's not difficult to imagine how the police managed to zoom in on him.

The episode took place during the recent H2Ointernationl event. This is supposed to be a water cooled VW and Audi meet, but drivers of other brands are welcome. Not this police-magnet guy, though.
