Last weekend, Saleen introduced its latest musclecar at the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion. Dubbed George Follmer Edition and based on the 2014 Mustang, the new vehicle celebrates famer racing driver Geroge Follmer and his 1969 Boss 302 track machine.
Painted in the same gorgeous black over red with white stripes color scheme, the Follmer Edition Mustang was definitely a show stopper at Laguna Seca last weekend. In fact, we think it’s the most beautiful 2014 Mustang created so far and we bet that it would have made quite an impression at the 2013 Pebble Beach as well.
Since we weren’t able to attend the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion this year, we had to settle for the press photos released by Saleen a few days ago. Fortunately, our friends over at Mustangs Daily were on site to shoot the George Follmer Edition in detail which means we can now have a better glance at the striking muslcecar.
