Yesterday, we found out that BMW plans to launch the X1 as a facelift at the New York Auto Show, which starts next month. This is earlier than we expected, and likely means that the X-model offensive is about to begin. The hot SUV we are really waiting for is the X4, but any hot model will do.
Have you got an X3 xDrive35d in your driveway and are wondering how to make it hotter? If you do it means you have speeding issues, because the 3.0-liter turbocharged straight-six diesel delivers 313 PS (309 hp) and will reach the first 100 km/ (62 mph) in just 5.8 seconds.

But if you have the tuning munchies, German tuning firm Hartge has exactly what you need. They’ve managed to boost the straight-six turbodiesel all the way to 362 PS (357 hp). It’s also got more torque than an aircraft carrier - 730Nm (538 lb-ft) from just 1,800 rpm.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
