When delivered to its new owner, the F10 M5 comes with 560 HP spewing out from the S63 4.4-liter V8 twin-turbo engine. That's stock, but the car still goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds. That is pretty fast for a saloon.
Tuners have already released a couple of different engine kits that further improve your car's acceleration and top speed. It is Hartge's turn to show what they have been working on.

The German BMW tuner has released a new M5 engine upgrade. The Hartge modified S63 is now producing 642 HP and 810 Nm of torque (that's a 82 HP and 130 Nm increase).

Other tuners might be offering a more drastic increase in power, but what is interesting about this one is that the Hartge modified F10 M5 is 2.06 seconds faster when accelerating from 50 to 250 km/h. A 2-second improvement means that, if you'll race a stock M5, at the finish line you'll be 44 meters in front of your competitor.
