Hartge BMW X6 xDrive35d

German tuning house today unveiled what seems to be one of the sportiest tuning packages for BMW's X6 xDrive35d diesel. As you can see for yourselves in the adjacent photos, the tuner improved the exterior styling with the help of a whole new aerodynamic kit consisting of ultra-lightweight polyurethane plastic which keeps the overall weight close to the initial figures while improving engine performance.

Other exterior improvements include the front spoiler, the new skirts plus the rear integrated diffuse, the quadrilateral stainless-steel tailpipes and the carbon casings for the exterior mirrors. The car also comes equipped with the company's Classic 2 wheels - 0.5 x 22" offset 33 at the front and 12 x 22" offset 23 at the back - fitted with ultra-wide tires - 295 / 30 ZR 22 at the front and 335 / 25 ZR 22 at the rear.

Interiors have been upgraded as well, with Hartge 3-spoke leather steering wheel with carbon inserts - carbon steering-wheel covers are also available - and silver metallic and red needles for the rev counter and speedometer. There are numerous other upgrades, including a wide array of accessories, such as carbon parts for the dashboard and the console, black velour foot and load-area mats.

And because engine upgrades are the most interesting, the twin-turbo 3.0-liter diesel is now capable of delivering 328 horsepower and 675 Nm of torque. Maximum speed is now rated at 256 km/h (159 mph), with 0 to 100 km/h acceleration done in less than 6 seconds - compared to 6.9 seconds for the standard model.

In case you're wondering how much it costs, the X6 xDrive35d kit is sold for 29,353 euros (38,400 US dollars), with all parts and installation included.
