Hartge Advertises Upgrade Kit for BMW 730d

If you can afford a brand new BMW 7 Series, it’s pretty hard to think that you’d go to a tuner (be that even Hartge) to get some more power into your car. My guess is that you’d go for the more powerful model and sit back and relax while BMW engineers do the work for you.
Somehow I find it hard to imagine a 7er owner driving down to the local dealership to get a power chip for his car. However, bigger surprises have been seen before and  Hartge proved over and over again that they really want to offer a choice for every model out there.

The latest video they posted if for the 730d model. The power kit takes the 3-liter diesel unit under the bonnet from 258 HP and 560 Nm of torque up to 309 HP and 670 Nm of torque, pretty close to the 740d model that’s biturbo and puts out 313 HP and 630 Nm of torque in stock guise. The performance increase is more than noticeable in the video below.
